Why do Filipino Teachers Go Abroad?
Previously: Venture overseas, secure employment, acquire vocational skills, earn income.
Nowadays: Pursue international education while working abroad, develop transnational competencies, establish worldwide connections, boost international credibility, and either settle abroad or return home to generate employment opportunities for fellow nationals.
While many may go abroad solely for work, I'm highlighting the shift in mindset for those pursuing education abroad. The 'now' motivations – studying while working, acquiring global skills, building networks, and gaining confidence – reflect a more strategic approach.
